Welcome to the Conference Website of the Seventh International Conference on Emotions and Worklife: Emonet VII

August 4-5, 2010 in Montreal, Canada.

This is the seventh in the series of biannual conferences organized by the Emonet e-mail discussion group (see www.emotionsnet.org).  The purpose of the conference is to showcase leading-edge research into the role of emotion in organizational settings. The conference opens with a reception and continues with 1 1/2 days of research presentations and symposia in two streams. Depending on submissions, the program may also include poster presentations. A feature of the conference is the Official Conference Dinner.

The Emonet conference is being conducted in the week before the 2010 Academy of Management Annual Meeting which is being held in Montreal, Canada 6th -10th August, 2010.

The Conference venue is on the campus of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), located close to downtown Montreal – see http://www.international.uqam.ca/Pages/anglais.aspx.

A selection of conference papers will be considered for inclusion in Volumes 7 and 8 of the Annual Book Series, Research on Emotion in Organizations.
